CCPA / CPRA Notice

California-specific privacy rights for candidates and recruiters using Expertini ATS.

2 min read · Updated July 2026 · Expertini Editorial

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for California residents, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

01Categories of personal information collected

Identifiers (name, email, phone), professional/employment information (CV contents, job title, work history), and internet/device activity (login timestamps, IP address for security purposes). We do not collect sensitive categories like precise geolocation, biometric data, or government ID numbers as part of the standard application flow.

02No sale or sharing

Expertini ATS does not sell personal information, and does not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising as CPRA defines that term. Data flows to a hiring organisation because that's the entire point of an application — it isn't a sale.

We do use Google Analytics to measure site and product usage. Every page of this product loads with advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalisation set to *denied*, and with Google's advertising signals disabled — these are refusals sent by the page itself on every request, not settings in a dashboard, so they hold regardless of how any analytics account is configured. Analytics data therefore cannot be used to build advertising audiences, which means there is no "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under CPRA. There are no ad units anywhere in this product. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a refusal automatically, without you having to ask.

03Your California rights

You may request to know what personal information we hold about you, request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations), request correction of inaccurate information, and opt out of any future sale or sharing (we don't currently do either, but the right stands regardless). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

04How to exercise these rights

Email dpo@mail.expertini.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. We'll verify your identity (matching the email or account the request relates to) before acting on it, consistent with CCPA's verification requirement, and respond within the statutory timeframe.

At a glance

  • No sale of personal information, ever
  • No cross-context behavioural-advertising sharing
  • Right to know, delete, and correct your data
  • No discrimination for exercising these rights
  • Identity verification required before acting on a request
